Some Minor Lyre Repair

Ran into some minor lyre issues, so here’s a new video documenting that! It’s been awhile since my last post, so I hope everyone is safe, well, and confronting the systemic issues that plague our world (or, the literal plague which harms people of color far more than white ones). These are turbulent times, and it’s important to take joy in the little things, like minor lyre mishaps, while also taking actions against larger injustice and ineqality.

I hope this video is a mildly interesting distraction, for those looking for further information, please consult the following:

Below is a list of places compiled by New York Magazine to donate to support the Black Lives Matter movement (for those who are able to do so):

Below is a link to USA Gov, which guides you through different federal and local representatives to contact and inform of your interests (and the interests of marginalized communities):

No activism is perfect, no person without problematic thoughts or feelings. To be involved in changing the world for the better, you do not need to do everything perfectly, all the time. All that is required is that we do. Thank you very much for reading, I hope you have a great day!

Also in case this was not clear: The Playing Sappho Project knows that Black Lives Matter, and that they are destroyed and marginalized far too often. My next project is a translation and recitation of ‘We Shall Overcome’ into Ancient Greek.
